Custom Field Management

In our mission to help you stay more organized and sane while building and managing marketing automation campaigns for your SaaS, we launched Custom Fields management.

With Custom Fields you can create, edit, duplicate, and remove all of the Person fields in your account.

And the best part is that Custom FIelds shares the same unified structure like Emails, Flows, and Segment, so you can organize your fields the way you like them to be organized. To make your life easier, every time you connect a new app to your Encharge account and map its fields, Encharge will automatically create and group all fields under a folder with the name of the app.

Each person's field has a set of attributes that define it:

  • Name — The name of the field

  • Description (optional) — To help you identify the field more easily. Shows when you hover over a field name in the People's table.

  • Type — Text, number, True/false or date.

  • API Name — You can use this name to address a field when making calls to the Encharge API. This can't be changed after the field is created. If you need to change an existing field's name, please contact support.

  • Can edit — Please note that Default fields — the fields that come with your Encharge account — are not editable.
